I made these refreshing dairy-free milkshakes today. A Mothers Day treat!
Ingredients

Ingredients for Banana Coffee Milkshake
3/4 cups frozen bananas ( I slice two bananas and place them on a sheet pan in a single layer. Allow them to freeze for a couple of hours and transfer to a resealable bag. Keep them in the freezer and use when needed)
3 dates, pitted and chopped
1/2 tsp vanilla powder or vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1/3 cup brewed coffee
3/4 cups coconut ice cream, or any ice cream of your choice (dairy-free, I use Righteous brand)
1 cup ice
red maraschino cherries
Ingredients for Banana Strawberry Milkshake
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen bananas
1/2 cup coconut ice cream, or any ice cream of your choice (dairy-free, I use Righteous brand)
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 1/2 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp lemon juice
Preparation
For the coconut, banana, coffee shake - Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds. Pour into a glass and serve with maraschino cherries.
For the banana strawberry shake - repeat the same process.
