These yummy blondies are gluten and grain free. A perfect healthier sweet treat!
Ingredients
Recipe makes 16 squares
1/4 cup vegan butter, softened
3/4 cups smooth almond butter
2 eggs
1 ripe banana, mashed
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cups almond flour
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 cups dark chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease an 8"x 8" square pan. Place a piece of parchment paper in the pan and let it overhang slightly. Grease again.
In a large bowl, add butter and almond butter. Mix with a hand mixer until creamy.
Add eggs, banana, brown sugar, and vanilla extract, mix well.
In a smaller bowl, add almond flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. Whisk to combine.
Add the flour mix into the wet ingredients, and mix, just until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool before cutting.
